ELSA Sweden

The European Law Students’ Association (ELSA) Sweden is one of 43 national groups in the world’s largest independent law students’ association. In total, ELSA consists of approximately 40 000 members from around 300 faculties in Europe. In Sweden there are seven local groups, which are located in Gothenburg, Linköping, Lund, Stockholm, Umeå, Uppsala and Örebro.

ELSA Sweden’s vision is in compliance with ELSA International’s  «A just world in which there is respect for human dignity and cultural diversity». Our aim is to contribute to broad legal knowledge and promote mutual understanding and social responsibility among law students and young lawyers. Furthermore, ELSA Sweden contributes to communication and cooperation among Swedish law students across the country and gives them international possibilities across borders.
